Just in case you’re at a loose end on this Saturday evening, here’s a small playlist for you all. I was reading one of Nick Cave’s ‘red hand files’ posts and someone asked him what his favourite songs were. Cave supplied a total of 11 tracks in answer, which he referred to as his ‘hiding songs’ - songs he can retreat into when he needs to. It’s an interesting selection and when I saw it, it felt like it chimed with a lot of things we’ve talked about on this chat so figured I should share it. It’s generally pretty mellow in tone so not a bad way to round off your Saturday evening/Sunday morning (the marathon runners amongst you may not agree, of course)
